Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a Division Chief of Neurointerventional Radiology to lead clinical service integration and strategic growth within a premier academic program. The role focuses on high-quality patient care, collaboration with neurosurgery, neurology, and emergency medicine, and advancing research initiatives.

The candidate will direct stroke/interventional procedures, mentor physicians and trainees, and oversee trials while aligning with NECStR and the broader radiology mission.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology with fellowship training in Neurointerventional Radiology.
• Strong leadership and academic accomplishments in a multidisciplinary setting.
• At least 5 years of clinical and leadership experience preferred.
• Academic rank and compensation commensurate with experience.
• Commitment to high-quality care and collaboration in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and expansion of joint clinical services to optimize patient outcomes and access.
• Manage neurointerventional procedures for stroke, aneurysms, and spinal vascular conditions.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with neurosurgery, neurology, emergency medicine, and critical care.
• Partner with NECStR to direct stroke and endovascular research; oversee trials portfolio.
• Mentor faculty, residents, and fellows; promote research and academic mission.
• Handle strategic planning, budgeting, and faculty development within the stroke/neurovascular program.
