Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida seeks an accomplished and visionary Division Chief of Neonatology to lead our Level IV NICU within one of the nation’s fastest-growing pediatric academic health systems. As Division Chief, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical care, education, quality, research, and program development within a culture grounded in compassion, academic excellence, and Whole Child Health. The Division Chief will play a key role in shaping neonatal services within this evolving ecosystem, helping develop new programs, strengthen alignment across specialties, and expand our regional and national impact.
Located in Lake Nona Medical City, the NICU is a Level IV, all-private-room unit supporting highly complex, all-referral cases. Our collaborative team delivers care in a high-acuity environment supported by leading-edge therapies and technology, including:
The NICU plays a critical role in supporting high-risk pregnancies through close integration with our fetal care and maternal fetal medicine programs, ensuring coordinated care from prenatal diagnosis through postnatal treatment and follow-up. We also serve as a regional referral center for Level I–III NICUs throughout Central Florida, with partnerships to hospitals such as Lakeland Regional Health, HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, UCF Lake Nona Hospital, Tradition Medical Center, and Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.
You will work closely with the UCF College of Medicine, supporting faculty appointments, residency education, and collaborative translational research in neonatology. The division will continue to build on the momentum of a flagship NIH R01 grant focused on hormonal regulation and feeding outcomes in large-for-gestational-age infants.
