ASCO invites applications for the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Illinois Chicago. The Chief will provide strategic, academic, clinical, and operational leadership for all activities within the Division, aligning with the Department of Medicine, the College of Medicine, and UI Health.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished physician-scientist with national reputation in hematology and/or oncology, responsible for advancing clinical excellence, research

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent degree and board certification in Medical Oncology, Hematology, or both.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within an academic medical center or cancer center.
• Evidence of excellence in clinical care, scholarship, and educational leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Division of Hematology/Oncology.
• Lead faculty recruitment, mentorship, and professional development.
• Promote collaboration, inclusion, and accountability across the division.
• Represent the division within the department and health system leadership.
