RosmanSearch, Inc. represents a premier academic healthcare system in Chicago seeking a Division Chief of Behavioral Neurology to guide a renowned program at the forefront of cognitive neurology.

This main-campus role partners with the Chair and Institute Director to expand services, mentor faculty, and advance neurodegenerative research while strengthening training in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD with neurology board certification.
• Subspecialty training in behavioral neurology.
• UCNS Diplomate in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry preferred.
• Distinguished scholarly record with sustained extramural funding (NIH or equivalent).
• Eligibility for appointment at Associate Professor or Professor.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the Division of Behavioral Neurology and align with the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center missions.
• Oversee division operations, including faculty appointments, promotions, performance, and resource stewardship.
• Collaborate with Department Chair, Institute Director, and clinical leadership on strategy, growth, and integration.
• Mentor faculty in clinical, research, and education missions; support career development.
• Supervise APPs and social workers; promote multidisciplinary team approaches.
• Facilitate integration across the Behavioral Neurology Division; improve access and outcomes.
• Lead staffing planning and hiring of new faculty and staff.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse faculty and foster academic excellence.
• Advance clinical trials, NIH funding, and research integration with the center's programs.
• Contribute to the Institute's standing as an NIH-funded Alzheimer's Disease Center.
• Lead accredited training programs in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry.
• Mentor fellows, residents, and junior faculty; promote scholarship and development.
• Contribute to Feinberg School of Medicine graduate and medical education.
