Job summary

Tactiq, an innovative software solutions provider, seeks a Division Account Manager to drive GlobalWorx adoption across retailer divisions and vendor accounts within the DSD ecosystem. You will build relationships with retailer, distributor, and manufacturer stakeholders, supporting retention and service level improvements.

In this role, you’ll manage multiple accounts, coordinate with internal teams, and train clients to maximize platform value.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct work experience in DSD operational roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or customer-facing roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in CPG retailer operations and related activities, preferably retailer category management functions.
  • 4-year Degree or relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 30% up to 50% within the US.
  • Deep understanding of the retailer–manufacturer–distributor relationship model and regional service variations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach.
  • Proficient in productivity software (Google Workspace or MS Office). Experience with Monday.com is a plus.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and no sponsorship needed now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of Kroger divisions and vendor accounts, serving as trusted advisor and main contact.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and business check-ins to ensure satisfaction and goal alignment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities, support renewals, and manage annual budgets for accounts.
  • Monitor client activity and identify risks or upsell opportunities.
  • Drive platform adoption by providing ongoing support, insights, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address issues, feature requests, or process challenges.
  • Ensure successful onboarding and training tailored to each customer’s needs.
  • Track and document all client communications and feedback.
  • Work with retailers at all levels to drive platform adoption and usage.
  • Generate analytical content and present insights to retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Meet with stakeholders to plan projects and improve service levels.
  • Manage multiple projects and bring them to measurable closures.
  • Execute field operations tasks to improve distributor service for retailers.

Position Purpose:

The Division Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of retailer divisions and vendor clients using our GlobalWorx platform within the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) ecosystem. This individual contributor role requires a proactive approach to managing retail field operations and execution directly. The successful candidate will be responsible for building collaborative relationships with retailer, distributor, and manufacturer stakeholders while driving platform adoption, supporting client retention, and directly improving distributor service levels and in-stock percentages across all supported retail categories.

Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Success
  • Own and manage a portfolio of Kroger Divisions and vendor accounts, serving as their trusted advisor and main point of contact.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and business check-ins to ensure satisfaction and alignment with client goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify expansion opportunities, support renewals, and manage the annual budget for accounts, including supporting accounts receivable as needed.
  • Monitor client activity, proactively identifying risks or opportunities for engagement or upsell.
  • Drive platform adoption by providing ongoing support, insights, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Account Services, IT, Billing and Product) to address technical issues, billing issues, feature requests, or process challenges.
  • Ensure successful client onboarding and training, tailored to the unique needs of each customer.
  • Track and document all client communications and feedback.
Field Operations & Stakeholder Execution
  • Work closely with retailers at all levels of the operational group to drive Globalworx adoption and usage.
  • Generate analytical content, effectively present information, and respond directly to questions from retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Meet with key retailer, distributor, and manufacturer stakeholders to develop or refine plans for projects and step-change service improvements.
  • Manage multiple varying-priority projects and initiatives simultaneously, bringing them to a measurable closure.
  • Directly execute field operations tasks focused on improving distributor service for retailers at store, district, region, division, and national levels.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, utilizing a consultative approach across both written and oral forms.
  • Proven ability to interact comfortably with a broad range of clients, from frontline field employees to Senior Executives.
  • Analytical mindset comfortable with reading usage data, interpreting metrics, and converting insights into executable action plans that create step-change improvements in service levels.
  • Proficient in productivity software (e.g., Google Workspace or MS Office). Experience with Monday.com a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically strong Excel reporting tools (PowerPoint and Access knowledge preferred).
  • Strong conflict resolution skills to manage occasional customer service or operational situations.
  • Authorized to work in the United States and will not require a sponsorship now or in the future.
Environmental Elements
  • Comfortable working in both a controlled office environment with extended periods of computer work, as well as active retail settings.
  • Ability to effectively navigate various environments including driving, utilizing mass transit, and walking between sites/locations.
  • Capability to stand several hours at a time and walk extended distances daily while visiting multiple retail locations.
  • Ability to occasionally perform physical labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting or moving product/equipment.
