Precision Walls, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Division 10/12 Sales/Estimator to translate drawings into comprehensive cost estimates for Division 10 bathroom partitions and Division 12 blinds.

You will assess labor, materials, equipment, and specialty items to prepare competitive bids aligned with profitability goals. The role requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and the sales team, timely proposals, clear pricing breakdowns, and effective vendor communication.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in the construction trade.
• Ability to analyze drawings and prepare cost estimates.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to cost details.
• Proficient with computers and pricing data.
• Understanding of Division 10 and Division 12 materials and pricing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Estimate project costs from plans, specs, and site data.
• Collaborate with sales, PMs, and stakeholders on bids.
• Submit proposals on time per client specifications.
• Explain scope, pricing, and value in proposals.
• Coordinate with vendors for product info, lead times, and specs.

• Follow up on proposals to refine future estimates.

Precision Walls has an exciting opportunity for a Division 10/12 Sales/Estimator to join our team! A Sales Estimator for Division 10 and Specialties is primarily responsible for working with engineers’ and architects’ drawings or blueprints to prepare a complete list of all job costs, including labor, material, equipment, and specialty items necessary to complete the project. You will play a key role in the sales process by preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for specialty construction materials, furnishings, and equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze project specifications, blueprints, and client requirements to develop detailed estimates that align with company pricing strategies and profitability goals. This role requires a thorough understanding of Division 10 (Bathroom Partitions & Grab Rails) and Division 12 (Blinds) construction materials, vendors, pricing structures, and market trends.

• Accurately estimating project costs and analyzing materials, equipment, and labor requirements to prepare detailed cost estimates for bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, and other stakeholders to create customized solutions for clients.
• Ensure proposals are submitted in a timely manner and in accordance with client specifications and deadlines.
• Clearly articulate the scope of work, pricing breakdowns, and value propositions in proposals to win new business.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to obtain product information, lead times, availability, and technical specifications.
• Participate in customer entertainment activities.
• Follow up with clients after proposal submissions to gather feedback and refine future estimates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements / Experience:

• At least 2-3 year’s experience in the trade.
• Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus.
• Detail driven with an accounting mindset – “Know your costs”.
