Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
• Experience in safety training and education programs.
• Knowledge of recompression chamber safety and diving safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support DAN’s international safety initiatives and programs.
• Provide expertise in safety products, including technical specifications and evaluations.
• Monitor safety trends within the dive industry to inform program development.
• Advise on risk assessment, training, diving safety practices and facilities.
• Develop new and revise existing e-learning courses.
• Administer current and new eLearning systems.
• Edit and contribute to safety content, newsletters, and guides.
• Distribute surveys to support program improvement.
• Update databases of service providers, instructors, safety officers, and recompression chambers.
• Teach students in Safety Services programs.
• Facilitate external communications on safety via social media and outreach.
• Represent DAN at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
