Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diving coach, with a strong track record of developing athletes at various levels.
• In-depth knowledge of diving techniques, training methodologies, and competition rules.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required; additional safety certifications are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for competitions as needed.
• A passion for diving and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all athletes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual divers and the team as a whole.
• Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and mental preparation.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to athletes to enhance performance and safety.
• Monitor and assess the progress of divers, adjusting training plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
• Organize and lead team meetings, competitions, and events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
• Collaborate with other coaching staff, trainers, and sports professionals to create a holistic training environment.
• Promote a positive team culture that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Stay current with diving techniques, rules, and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
