Job summary

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a Business Diversity Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to the MBE/WBE program within Procurement. The specialist will monitor supplier compliance, review solicitations, and promote participation by minority- and women-owned businesses on district contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience, including at least two (2) years in compliance, business diversity, financial analysis, project management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review solicitations to ensure compliance with CPS Remedial Program Policies.
• Survey industries and vendor availability to set aspirational goals in B2GNow.
• Assist in evaluating MBE/WBE plans for bids and contracts.
• Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to promote MBE/WBE participation.
• Prepare program evaluation reports and scorecards for Board review.
• Provide training on program objectives and CPS procurement practices.
