Job summary

gpac is helping a well-established commercial general contractor in Biloxi, MS, recruit a Project Manager to oversee commercial projects from start to finish. The role emphasizes collaboration, work-life balance, and professional growth in a family-oriented environment.

Most projects are local with minimal overnight travel; you will develop schedules, manage budgets, coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders, and drive on-site field execution with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial GC.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial projects preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What You'll Do

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule expectations are met.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with Superintendents to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects preferred.
• Assistant Project Managers ready to step into a Project Manager role are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with healthcare, restaurants, multifamily, daycare, retail, office, or other commercial projects is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and other construction management software is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000-$90,000 (depending on experience)
