Job summary

Sheridan School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for districtwide support in the 2026-2027 school year. The role collaborates with administrators, teachers, and special education staff to provide comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing interventions.

The incumbent will plan, implement, and evaluate services aligned with IDEA and Colorado standards, leveraging current technologies and family collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification required or eligible.
• Special Services license issued by CDE required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement service-delivery models for identified students.
• Comply with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records with timely data collection.
• Review data with IEP team and support for 504/IEP cases.
• Adapt curriculum to meet Colorado standards and access skills.
• Collaborate with students, teachers, families and staff to provide integrated services.
• Provide culturally- and developmentally-appropriate interventions.
• Develop intervention plans with measurable goals.
