Job summary

Qualifications

• Special Education teaching certification is required.
• 5 years of successful special education teaching experience.
• Endorsement for Special Education Consultant (EPSB CA-27) is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ARC meetings according to policy and timelines.
• Serve as ARC Chairperson for referrals, annual reviews, transfers, eligibility, and re-evaluations.
• Serve as 504 Chairperson for referrals and meetings at assigned schools.
• Review IDEA documents and assist with referral procedures and data collection.
• Provide in-service training to staff on special education topics.
• Assist with daily scheduling to ensure IEP services are included.
• Support transition services, ILPs, and post-secondary requirements.
• Maintain and transfer records and complete due process forms accurately.
