Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license from the Board of Nursing preferred.
• School Nurse certification preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification required.
• Experience with school-age nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of health issues in school-age children.
• Familiarity with SNAP health data system.

Responsibilities

• Provide health services to all students in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Dispense medication to students per School Committee policy.
• Provide health information to groups of students and to students on an individual basis.
• Update and maintain Health Policy Manual as required by DOE.
• Obtain and maintain health documentation for all students.
