Job summary

Applitrack seeks a Technology and Creative Development/Network Administrator to lead the Information Technology Department for the district. You will oversee strategic planning, deployment, and use of technology district-wide, ensuring secure and efficient IT operations.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and the ability to translate complex tech needs into actionable plans for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of computer networks, hardware, and software applications.
• Experience managing budgets and personnel; coordinating district functions; implementing policy and procedure.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret data.
• Two years of supervision/management experience in an information systems department.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex district IT needs and develop/implement technical solutions.
• Manage projects by prioritizing and directing personnel to achieve district goals.
• Develop and enforce district standards for hardware, software, and networking.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, backups, licensing, upgrades, and disaster recovery plans.
• Support safety tech equipment and district operations.
• Maintain district website and social media with required information.
• Coordinate education service center and district staff IT support.
