Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager, lead the Pharmacy Technician team and oversee all aspects of daily operations in a community setting. You will ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance while driving patient care initiatives.

You will oversee inventory, profitability, loss prevention, and staff development to deliver exceptional service and health outcomes for our patients and communities in New York.

Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA).
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient safety and provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Lead and support Pharmacy Technician Staff, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, quality assurance and loss prevention.
  • Manage inventory and contribute to pharmacy financial performance.
  • Lead patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60.00 - $76.00

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
