Job summary

Univar Solutions in the Chicagoland area is seeking a ChemCare District Supplier Manager to oversee supplier relationships, performance, and regulatory compliance. You will act as the primary liaison between suppliers and internal teams to ensure service excellence and cost management.

This hybrid role requires 3+ years SAP/ERP experience, strong analytics, and communication skills. Travel up to 25% nationwide is expected; you’ll manage data, onboarding of TSDFs, and supplier transitions while

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% nationally.
• Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, environmental services, or solid waste operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Supplier Relationships: Coordinate with suppliers to resolve service issues, billing discrepancies, cost inquiries, and operational concerns while communicating updates to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain Supplier Data: Manage supplier records, approvals, rate sheets, regulatory documentation, and system updates across SAP and SharePoint.
• Optimize Supply Chain: Lead supplier and disposal network optimization projects, including onboarding new TSDFs and implementing supply plan improvements.
• Support Strategic Projects: Assist with supplier transitions, facility moves, consolidations, and business integration activities.
• Analyze Performance: Track supplier performance, maintain KPIs and reporting, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Conduct Audits: Support low-risk supplier audits and periodic facility visits to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.

Where You’ll Work:

• This is a hybrid-based role that will report out of our Chicagoland area.

Pay & Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $78,190 - $97,750. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. [In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay]. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
