Qualifications

• Experience as an Administrator-Assistant Superintendent, Principal, etc. preferred.
• Possess an Arkansas Educator License and Superintendent Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in establishing and implementing district educational goals and priorities.
• Monitor student achievement, assessment results, school report card grades, graduation rates, and other performance indicators.
• Promote effective curriculum, instructional strategies, assessment practices, and evidence-based interventions.
• Ensure curriculum and instructional programs align with Arkansas standards and state/federal requirements.
• Support principals, teachers, and staff in improving classroom instruction and student outcomes.
• Establish and monitor district and school improvement plans.
• Promote high expectations for all students while supporting diverse learning needs.
• Prepare and present recommendations, reports, budgets, and policies for board consideration.
• Oversee district safety, facilities, transportation, and financial management.
