GreenWay Waste & Recycling, LLC is seeking a District Service Manager for the Virginia, Alexandria area. The role offers an evening schedule with independent work at assigned properties and advancement opportunities within a growing company.

You will manage valet service operations, supervise porters, and maintain relationships with customers while ensuring vehicle upkeep and safety. A strong background in customer service and people management is essential.

Qualificações

• Resume should show customer service experience and people management.
• Experience in heavy-lifting is relevant and desirable.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel is expected.
• Willingness to travel and work a split schedule may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage valet service operations at assigned properties.
• Split shifts may be required with time split between home and in-field work.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees.
• Maintain open communication with management and employees.
• Fuel and maintain vehicles and supervise porters.
• Schedule porters and handle coverage as needed.
• Keep accurate records and reports and enforce safety protocols.

What You’ll Do As A District Service Manager:

• Manage valet service operations at assigned locations
• This position may require a split shift schedule which includes hours in the morning/early afternoon and evening depending on needs and/or performance of your team. Time will be split between your working from home and in the field / community properties
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Greenway Waste customers and employees
• Maintain open communication with management and employees
• Fuel and maintain vehicles
• Schedule valet porters and fill-in as necessary
• Assemble, deliver, label and maintain trash receptacles
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Deliver violations, conduct trainings and progressive discipline
• Collect trash bags and recycling door-to-door within a local apartment community and transfer to the trash compactor onsite
• Lead effective teams and hold others accountable

What We Require Of A District Service Manager:

• Reliable transportation (with allowance) if not provided a vehicle
• A smart phone
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing to submit a background check
• Greenway is a drug free workplace
• Have and maintain a clean driving record
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule and/or be on call during irregular business hours
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel
• Customer service, and prior people management experience
• Willigness to travel if required
