Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities as a school psychologist.
• Ability to coordinate services across departments.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication; proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support student development by implementing ESE Psych Services initiatives.
• Advise the Director on assignments and responsibilities of district school psychologists.
• Monitor status of psychological services and address needs or concerns.
• Supervise district school psychologists and Pre-K assessment teams for quality.
• Ensure staff familiarity with placement criteria per policy for exceptional students.
• Provide ongoing professional development for district psychologists.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of psychological records.
• Assist in developing and evaluating a comprehensive psychological services program.
• Plan in-service training with the Teacher Professional Learning and Growth Dept; implement and evaluate.
• Investigate and mediate complaints to ensure compliant services.
• Maintain data and prepare reports describing service quality and quantity.
• Advise on adequacy of stations and inventory for psychology teams.
• Address financial/personnel issues affecting psychology staff.
