Job summary

Carter's is seeking a District Manager (Central CA) to lead multi-unit retail teams, coach store managers, and drive performance across assigned stores. You will oversee talent development, succession planning, and execution of company programs to achieve customer-focused results.

The role requires extensive retail leadership, strong P&L and KPI management, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while maintaining Carter's values and standards.

Qualifications

  • Must have: People First Mindset with focus on development, coaching and training dedicated to Succession Planning.
  • Excellent communication with the ability to manage and communicate with multiple locations remotely.
  • Retail background including managing multi-unit retail/specialty apparel for at least 5 years.
  • Navigates ambiguity and pivots priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understand and manage KPIs, budgets and P&L.
  • Proven business acumen, innovative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
