Job summary

Kenworth Sales Company is seeking a District Manager to lead operations for the Richmond & Chesapeake, Virginia team. This role oversees branch profitability, market knowledge, and customer relations while driving strategic initiatives.

The position requires extensive travel, weekend/evening hours, and compliance with DOT regulations. A college degree in business management is preferred, with a track record in automotive dealership leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.
• College degree in business management or related field preferred.
• Understanding of basic management, accounting and computer principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operations, sales and overall profitability of assigned Branch operations.
• Develop knowledge of markets, industries, customer base, and product demand; advise Senior Management on growth opportunities.
• Foster relationships with target fleet accounts and industry associations.
• Coordinate with Truck Enterprises and suppliers to ensure superior customer service.
• Set annual financial and operating objectives for branches and budgets; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Review financial data with managers and take corrective action to meet objectives.
• Manage assets, including facilities, equipment, inventory and data security.
• Oversee Branch personnel, performance evaluations, training, and compliance with policies.
