AlphaBEST Education, Northwest ISD district operations leader position seeks to oversee multiple before- and after-school programs.“ District Manager” will guide Site Directors and staff, drive strong staffing and enrollment, and ensure high-quality programs across sites while maintaining licensing compliance. Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple AlphaBEST programs, ensuring strong staffing, program quality, enrollment, financial management, and compliance.
• Recruit, interview, and select qualified staff passionate about working with children.
• Coach Site Directors and staff through regular feedback, training, and development.
• Build cohesive teams with clear expectations and collaboration, addressing concerns professionally.
• Monitor program quality and ensure curriculum is implemented consistently across sites.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance student experience.
• Ensure licensing and safety compliance per state regulations and AlphaBEST standards.
• Oversee staffing, retention, and partner with recruiting/operations to address challenges.
• Monitor enrollment, payments, deposits, and expenses to support strong district performance.
• Review payroll and timesheets to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Develop community partnerships and strengthen relationships with school administrators and families.

As a District Manager, you'll provide multi-site operational leadership for our before- and after-school programs while helping bring the mission and vision of AlphaBEST to life. You'll play a key role in building successful teams, leading and supporting Site Directors and Group Leaders, and ensuring our programs provide a high-quality experience for students, families, and school partners.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead and oversee multiple AlphaBEST programs, ensuring strong performance in staffing, program quality, enrollment, financial management, and compliance.
• Recruit, interview, and select qualified staff who are passionate about working with children and supporting the AlphaBEST mission.
• Lead, coach, and develop Site Directors and staff through regular communication, performance feedback, training, and professional development.
• Build strong and cohesive teams by establishing clear expectations, fostering collaboration, and addressing performance or employee concerns effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate program quality and ensure curriculum is implemented consistently across assigned sites.
• Work with Site Directors and Group Leaders to identify opportunities for program improvement and implement strategies to enhance the student experience.
• Ensure all assigned sites maintain licensing and safety compliance in accordance with state regulations and AlphaBEST standards.
• Oversee staffing needs, employee performance, and retention and partner with recruiting and operations teams to address staffing challenges.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, payments, deposits, and expenses to support strong financial performance across the district.
• Review and oversee payroll, timesheets, expense reports, leave requests, and other employee documentation to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Address escalated concerns from parents, schools, and employees by developing appropriate solutions and resolving them professionally.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, families, and community organizations.
• Partner with Regional leadership to develop and implement local marketing, enrollment, and growth strategies.
• Conduct site quality evaluations and review program data to identify opportunities for improvement and recognize strong performance.
• Represent AlphaBEST at school meetings, community events, and other company initiatives.
• Develop community partnerships and identify opportunities to increase AlphaBEST's presence and impact within the communities we serve.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; BA or BS in Business Management, Education, or related field preferred. A master's degree or higher is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Previous experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience preferred
• Ability to travel locally and attend company meetings and training sessions (may include occasional out-of-state travel)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
