C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a District Manager to oversee merchandisers and salespeople across a multi-store district, ensuring customer needs are met and operations run smoothly. You will coordinate schedules, approve vacations, and lead weekly field meetings.

The role requires managing district responsibilities, evaluating performance, and reporting to the Regional Manager. Full-time position with competitive benefits and relocation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect weekly schedules for Merchandisers
• Visit stores to ensure sales reps complete duties
• Approve vacation requests for Salespeople and Merchandisers
• Evaluate merchandisers annually
• Hire/firing of Merchandisers & Salespeople
• Report to the Regional Manager
• Coordinate projects and communicate changes
• Maintain district business facets and schedules
• Lead weekly field team sales meetings
• Disseminate new items and distributions
• Schedule coverage for routes and store resets/remodels
• Collect store information from surveys and forms
• Resolve issues beyond sales reps’ scope
• Review monthly sales figures and address issues

Salary Range $60,330-$78,530

As a District Manager, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of all merchandisers and salespersons assigned to your territory, ensuring customer needs are met. This role works in correspondence with our Regional Managers.

Job Type: Full-Time

You will contribute by:

• Collecting & verifying Merchandiser’s weekly schedules
• Visiting stores to ensure sales representative are completing all of their responsibilities
• Approving Salespeople and Merchandiser vacation requests
• Formally evaluating merchandisers annually
• Hiring/Firing of Merchandisers & Salespeople
• Answering directly to the Regional Manager
• Coordinating projects; Communicating changes and progress; Completing projects on time and budget
• Responsible for all facets of business in the district
• Accurately maintaining sales route schedules
• Conducting weekly sales meetings with the field team
• Disseminating new information, i.e., New Items, Distros, etc.
• Scheduling coverage for sales routes (i.e. vacation, sick days, etc) store resets & remodels
• Collecting store information from: i.e. store survey forms, etc.
• Resolving store issues that cannot be resolved by a salesperson
• Evaluating monthly sales figures & addressing any issues
