Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across the assigned area. You will drive profitability, customer service, safety, and compliance while coaching store managers to achieve business goals.

You will oversee merchandising, operations, budgets, and expense control, implement programs, recruit leaders, and promote teamwork. Travel up to 50% is required to support stores within the district.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • At least 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years of multi-store experience.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with ability to build an effective team.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and present information with focus on results.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills.
  • HR and asset protection experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Process management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset across the district, setting high and consistent standards.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time with occasional overnight stays to support and oversee store operations across the district.
