Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a District Manager to lead operations across multiple stores, with emphasis on pharmacy, front-end execution and the patient experience. You will coach Store and Pharmacy Managers, drive One Plan initiatives, and ensure resource availability to improve sales and brand image.

You will supervise store performance, optimize merchandising and inventory, and build community relationships while safeguarding payroll, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience if applicable; 5 years of retail management experience required for degree holders.
• High School Diploma with 7 years of retail management experience accepted.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 85% for business purposes.

Responsibilities

• Executes One Plan strategy to ensure consistent, excellent customer experience across the district.
• Supervises stores, visits locations regularly, and partners with DPS and RVP for execution.
• Drives merchandising, inventory, pricing and display execution with input to Regional VP.
• Coaches Store and Pharmacy Managers to improve engagement, performance and staffing.
• Leads community events and external relationships while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
