The role directs timber sale administration, cruising, silvicultural development, log scaling, and forest engineering, with responsibility for safety and trust resources under IRMP.

This exempt, field-heavy position expects strong leadership, NWCG qualifications, a forestry degree at least, and a valid driver's license; occasional support

Qualifikationen

• Requires Master’s degree in Forestry or related field with 2 years leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years progressively responsible forestry experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years forestry experience.
• 12 years supervisory forestry experience may substitute for a degree.

Aufgaben

• Supervise district operations and budgets to ensure efficiency.
• Direct timber sale administration and presales layout activities.
• Oversee cruising, forest engineering, silvicultural development, and log scaling.
• Provide leadership support to Wildland Fire Management up to 10% of duties.
• Ensure compliance with IRMP, tribal and federal regulations.
