Job summary

Camrosa Water District seeks a District Engineer to lead highly responsible engineering work across water, wastewater, and infrastructure programs. The role provides critical judgment to the Board, staff, regulators, and the public, shaping district priorities and long‑term infrastructure strategy.

The ideal candidate brings ten+ years in public works/water/wastewater engineering, with proven project ownership, strong leadership, and a track record in master planning and implementation.

Qualifications

• At least ten years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience in public works, water, or wastewater sectors.
• Strong project management ownership and delivery experience.
• Experience in master plan development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact capital projects and oversee consultants/contractors.
• Prepare water resources and regulatory reports, and participate in budgeting.
• Present to Board of Directors and executive leadership on technical, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear community solutions and coordinate with operations staff.
