Job summary

Orchard Farm School District is seeking a dedicated accompanist to provide piano or keyboard support for concerts, school choirs, vocal ensembles, soloists and assemblies for the 2026-2027 season.

The successful candidate will work with music directors to rehearse and perform at district events, with prior accompanist experience preferred but not required. This role is an extra duty stipend position with placement based on the district salary schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as an accompanist is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read music and follow direction from directors.
• Strong teamwork and rehearsal support.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional piano or keyboard accompaniment for concerts, school choirs, vocal ensembles, soloists and assemblies.
• Collaborate with music directors to rehearse and perform at district events.
• Support and accompany students during performances with accuracy and musicality.

Orchard Farm School District seeks a highly qualified, self-motivated, student centered individual to serve as the District Concert/Assembly/Vocal Accompanist for the 2026-2027 season.

The successful candidate will play an integral role of the musical team providing professional piano or keyboard support for concerts, school choirs, vocal ensembles, soloists, and general assemblies. This sponsorship will collaborate with music directors to rehearse and perform at school concerts, assemblies and other district events.

Previous accompanist experience preferred, but not required.

SALARY:

Extra Duty Stipend, 6.0% of the Extra Duty Salary Schedule.
