Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Services District Educator (SDE) to develop high-performing service teams across districts and to drive salon hair sales while maintaining exceptional guest service.

The SDE will design annual education calendars, train on techniques and trends, recruit and onboard talent, and travel to district stores. A cosmetology license is required; Redken certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of training experience, to include a superior knowledge of all back-bar products, services and retail recommendations
• 2+ years of coaching/leadership experience
• Understanding of, and proficiency with, the salon business, color, design and texture
• Cosmetology license is required
• Redken certification preferred (within six months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Deliver hair service training and product knowledge.
• Drive sales growth in hair services.
• Build district training calendar and classes.
• Travel to district stores for coaching and evaluation.
• Partner with leadership on recruiting and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety and infection control.
• Lead Ulta Academy trainings and attend brand partner trainings.
