Job summary

Larimer County District Attorney's Office offers a paid internship/fellowship for recent law school graduates. Candidates must have completed law school and be eligible to take the Colorado Bar in July 2026. Interns will draft motions, conduct research, and assist during trials, with positions based in Loveland or Fort Collins.

Two recent graduates will be hired into full-time (40 hours/week) roles. A cover letter addressed to Amanda Duhon, Chief Deputy District Attorney, is required.

Job description

Overview

The District Attorney's Office seeks recent law school graduates for a paid internship/fellowship with the our office.

Only individuals who have completed law school and have taken the July 2026 Colorado Bar exam will be considered.

As an intern, students will be drafting motions, do research, and assisting during trials. Internships are available at both our Loveland and Fort Collins locations. We anticipate hiring 2 recent graduates into full time (40 hours/week) positions.

Supplemental Information

It is expected these employees will work full time, but in a temporary position will not be eligible for benefits other than accruing 1 hour of sick leave per 30 hours worked.
