Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a District Account Technician to perform complex accounting duties under the Senior Director, Fiscal Services. You will prepare, maintain and review extensive accounts and budgetary records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures, while guiding others and serving students, staff, vendors and government agencies daily.

Qualifications

• Two years of college-level training with specialized course work in account ing or equivalent in accounting or related field.
• Experience: Increasingly responsible experience in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports including public contact experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and review a large set of accounts or a major accounting function.
• Oversee district or campus accounting, budgetary and fiscal records and reports.
• Provide work training and guidance to others; supervise services to students, staff, vendors and governmental agencies.
