Job summary

Evanston/Skokie School District 65 is seeking a Middle School Interscholastic Coach to lead and supervise the athletic program, fostering student-athlete development, teaching fundamentals, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring safety in alignment with District 65 Athletics standards.

The coach will support academic and personal growth, build a culture of inclusivity and integrity, and report to the District 65 Athletic Director; CPR/AED certification is preferred, onboarding and background

Qualifications

• Prior coaching or athletic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of age-appropriate training and competition standards.
• CPR/AED certification (preferred or required before first contest).
• Completion of District 65 onboarding, fingerprinting, and background checks.
• Commitment to the values of educational athletics and middle school development.

This includes fostering student-athlete development, teaching fundamental skills, promoting sportsmanship, ensuring safety, and aligning the program with the mission of the District 65 Sports Conference and the standards established by District 65 Athletics.

MIDDLE SCHOOL INTERSCHOLASTIC(s) COACH

A Coach will provide leadership, supervision, and organization of all aspects of the athletic program. This includes fostering student-athlete development, teaching fundamental skills, promoting sportsmanship, ensuring safety, and aligning the program with the mission of the District 65 Sports Conference and the standards established by District 65 Athletics. The coach is responsible for supporting the academic and personal growth of all student-athletes while building a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and integrity that reflects the values of Evanston/Skokie District 65. This job reports to the District 65 Athletic Director.
