Distribution Warehouse Associate – Weekend Shift

Our Distribution Centers hire full‑time associates for a variety of shifts. PetSmart offers four 10‑hour weekday shifts or three 12‑hour weekend shifts. Shifts vary by location and may include shift differential pay.

Shift Schedule

• Morning Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Afternoon/Overnight Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
• Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 5:00 am – 5:30 pm

Pay & Performance

• Step increases: 6 automatic wage increases over the first 24 months. Four in the first year and two in the second.
• Pay‑for‑performance program: Earn up to $4.00 more per hour when exceeding productivity goals.
• Team bonus multiplier for overall DC performance.
• Pay increases with promotions.
• Referral bonus: Earn up to $2,000 and 4 paid discretionary days for additional time off.

The Impact You’ll Make

• Picker & Packer: Picks store‑specific product from modules into totes and onto conveyor belt, packs larger product onto pallets, using automated WMS.
• Stocker & Cherry Picker: Places handpicked products into designated modules or reserve docking locations.
• Receiver & Unloader: Scans products into inventory while unloading trailers; sorts mixed SKU pallets for stocking and replenishment.
• Loader: Ensures trailers are loaded with accuracy to optimize capacity.

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for pets and people and the desire to grow a fulfilling career.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to apply basic instructions and procedures and respond to standard requests.
• Physical capability to bend, twist, stretch, push, pull, and carry or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable alternating between standing, sitting, or walking for an entire shift (typically 10–12 hours).
• Willingness and ability to operate powered industrial and mechanical equipment, including reach truck, stand‑ups, dock stocker and pushcarts (proper training and safety standards provided).
• Ability to work in various temperatures and noise levels.
