Trex Company is seeking a Distribution & Transportation Engineer to serve as the Business Process Champion in the Inventory to Delivery phase of the Order to Cash process. This role owns and supports distribution systems to boost productivity, accuracy, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies, plus experience with WMS, YMS, and LMS integrations.

The Distribution & Transportation Engineer serves as the Business Process Champion in the Inventory to Delivery portion of the Order to Cash process.. This person is the primary technical owner and super user for distribution systems, ensuring optimal performance to improve productivity, efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain systems, systems integration, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. They will be responsible for managing and optimizing distribution related systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Yard Management System (YMS), supporting end users, leading system enhancements, and driving operational excellence through technology. They also support distribution systems integration of new businesses into Trex.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 – 7+ years of experience supporting warehouse operations, supply chain systems, or distribution center technology.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 annually
The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
