Job description

Overview

Distribution Technician – B Shift (Wednesday 1:45pm–8:00pm, Thursday–Saturday 7:45am–8:00pm). Perform and support all leads, supervisors, and staff members with operational functions of quality control, label inspection and separation, packaging, special instructions and shipping to meet customer delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Accurately inspects, separates, slots, and packages all label/print products.
• Ensure all quality control standards are maintained.
• Use ERP system to log time and materials accurately.
• Ensure shipments are completed and packages are shipped to the correct recipient as per the daily schedule or as instructed by Lead, Supervisor, job ticket, or customer instructions.
• Communicate problems or quality issues to appropriate individuals.
• Double-check shipments leaving the production facility for errors before delivery.
• May communicate with courier companies and drivers about delays or special deliveries that may affect customer deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; use required PPE; follow safety rules and procedures.
• May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug-free workplace and safety policies is required.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Stands 2/3 to full time on shift daily.
• Uses hands and fingers to handle and feel 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
• Reaches with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
• Requires close vision (20 inches or less).
• Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
