Genesis10 is seeking a Contract Distribution Technician. This is an on-site long-term contract position with a client located in Reading, PA.

Compensation: $50.00-55.00/HR W2

Job Description:

The Contract Distribution Technician will provide dedicated support for Long-Term Infrastructure Improvement Plan (LTIIP) projects. This role ensures timely execution of critical infrastructure initiatives by managing materials, coordinating engineering and commissioning activities, maintaining accurate data, and supporting project tracking. The position is fully charged to LTIIP budgets and plays a key role in mitigating operational risks caused by staffing attrition and increased workload.

Responsibilities
  • Review and verify material lists for accuracy
  • Monitor delivery schedules and incoming shipments
  • Notify crews and leadership of delays or issues
  • Coordinate emergent material needs with local DTs
  • Track engineering prints and project development
  • Coordinate commissioning with external resources
  • Alert leadership to engineering or commissioning delays
  • Maintain accurate equipment records in Cascade
  • Ensure correct data for nameplates, triggers, serial numbers, and service dates
    Project Tracking
  • Update tracking sheets for material and engineering delivery
  • Support future project planning including Cascade orders and RPAs
  • Assist external crews with local coordination
  • Contribute to long‑term project development
Requirements
  • Experience in substation operations or related technical field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with material management
  • Familiarity with engineering processes
  • Proficiency in data entry and systems such as Cascade
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
