Job summary

Kite Pharma is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Associate in California to support Production by managing materials, receiving shipments, dispensing GMP materials, and maintaining accurate inventory. You will participate in ERP transactions, Kanban replenishment, and cross-training across warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 0+ years of experience, HS Diploma, and forklift certification, with benefits including medical plans and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform and participate in Materials Management operations to support Production.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse task assignments and monitor completion.
• Receive incoming shipments of materials and equipment following procedures.
• Dispense and kit GMP materials for production operations.
• Prepare and deliver raw materials and supplies to departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range.
• Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Perform accurate ERP transactions.
• Monitor Kanban area to ensure optimum replenishment of materials.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalation when appropriate.
• Cross-train in all areas of warehouse operations.
• Pick, pack, and ship finished product, materials, and equipment as required per established policies and procedures.
• Ensure individual employee training is up to date.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and GMP requirements at all times.
• Keep warehouse operation clean and organized.
• Assist in the revision of area SOPs.
• Forklift certified.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Description

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Perform and participate in the Materials Management operations and activities to support Production operations and other internal customers.
• Manage the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities.
• Receive incoming shipments of non-GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures.
• Dispense and kit GMP materials to support production operations.
• Prepare and deliver raw materials, samples, supplies, etc. to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed.
• Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Perform accurate ERP transactions.
• Monitor Kanban area to ensure optimum replenishment of materials.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalation when appropriate.

Knowledge

Works on assignments that are basic in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.

Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

The salary range for this position is: $55,930.00 - $72,380.00. Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.

This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
