Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics is seeking a Distribution Specialist I to support order fulfillment, shipping, and material handling at the Morrisville site. You will retrieve stock, stage cylinders, and prepare shipments in compliance with Air Liquide policies and DOT regulations.

The role requires safety adherence and basic mechanical skills. The position emphasizes accuracy, timely processing of orders, and coordination with carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English language.
• Good mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations accurately.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Experience operating forklift, pallet jack or similar equipment.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• Safety conscious and able to follow DOT and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work with the utmost regard for safety and health of all involved.
• Understand and comply with safety standards and regulations; report accidents or near misses.
• Follow the Quality System; report deficiencies and halt operations if quality compromised.
• Retrieve product from stock areas to fulfill orders.
• Stage cylinders within the plant for shipment.
• Prepare cylinders for shipments per Air Liquide policy and DOT rules.
• Assist in loading and unloading containers from trucks.
• Maintain work area per 5S methodology.
• Prepare shipping paperwork per policy and regulations.
• Coordinate deliveries with carriers and Air Liquide locations.
• Receive incoming products and log them appropriately; inform proper personnel of receipt.
• Arrange pickups for express carriers when needed.

Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.

• Perform work with the utmost regard for the safety/health of all involved

• Understand and comply with all safety standards and regulations while on company or customer property; report any accident, incident or near miss

• Understand and comply with the established Quality System; report any deficiencies; stop any plant operation if is it compromising the quality process

• Retrieve product from stock areas in order to fulfill orders

• Stage cylinders within the plant in preparation for shipment

• Prepare cylinders for shipments per Air Liquide policy, DOT regulations and customer specific requirements. Preparation includes, but is not limited to: removing old labels, painting cylinders, overall cylinder and valve inspection/checks, wrapping valve, tagging, labeling/stenciling the cylinder accordingly, bar-code scanning for appropriate Oracle processing, loading/securing on pallets, etc.

• Assist in loading and unloading containers from trucks

• Maintain general work area as per 5S methodology

• Prepare shipping paperwork according to Air Liquide policy and DOT regulations

• As needed, contact common carriers and Air Liquide locations to coordinate the delivery and pickup of cylinders as well as other materials

• Receive incoming products and material on the appropriate logs; inform the proper personnel of receipt

• As needed, prepare and arrange pickups of shipments for express service carriers such as Federal Express, UPS, etc
