Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a warehouse associate in the United States (Las Vegas area). The role requires operation of powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks, strict adherence to safety protocols, and accurate order picking.

You will complete daily checks, report issues, and maintain a clean, efficient workspace while meeting OSHA rules and safety expectations. The ideal candidate lifts up to 50 lbs, has basic math and reading skills, and passes forklift training demonstrating

• Must pass in-house forklift driver training and demonstrate safe handling of reach truck and/or order picker forklift.
• Good math, language and reading skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks and pallet jacks according to standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE while driving PIT.
• Complete daily operational checklist and report mechanical issues to supervisor or maintenance.
• Efficiently pick customer orders and report any inconsistencies to supervisor.
• Maintain 95% productivity or higher.
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
• Comply with OSHA standards and facility safety rules.
• Demonstrate safe working attitude at all times.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Must be proficient in the operation of an Powered Industrial Truck and/or pallet jack according to operating standards
• Must follow all safety guidelines for safe operations of PIT and wear proper PPE while driving PIT
• Complete daily operational checklist, report all mechanical issues to your supervisor or maintenance
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is selected from the correct location. Report all picking and/or rewarehouse inconsistencies to the department supervisor
• Accurately conduct location counts
• Must maintain a minimum of 95% or higher productivity rate
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly assigned work area
• Comply with all OSHA standards and facility safety rules
• Conduct behavior that reflects a safe working attitude at all times

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED equivalent preferred but not required
• Good math, language, and reading skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs safely
• Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
• Satisfactorily pass in-house forklift driver training program and demonstrated safe handling of a reach truck and/or order picker forklift

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $37,460 USD - $43,472 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
