Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency in San Diego seeks a Distribution Facilities Specialist (GS-11) to serve as a subject-matter expert for QA control and surveillance of service providers. Qualifications

• Knowledge of the mission, organization and work processes of the distribution and supply management program.
• Statistical process control techniques to collect, analyze and evaluate data.
• Reviewing, analyzing and preparing complex reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as specialist and technical advisor for control and standardization of quality assurance responsibilities.
• Assess SP performance compliance to established requirements through surveillance methods.
• Implements the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and documents SP performance.
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts inspections to ensure SP performance at acceptable levels.
• Assesses service quality relative to Receiving, Inventory, Transportation and Shipping Operations, Packaging and stock readiness.
