Job summary

Plug Power is seeking a Distribution Planner to manage the hydrogen logistics network across North America. You will collaborate with regional managers to ensure timely fulfillment, monitor telemetry data, and maintain customer communications.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, cross-functional teamwork, and proficiency with standard software. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in supply chain or forecasting, plus excellent communication.

• Maintain an internal tracking report of all telemetry levels and customer correspondence.
• Communicate immediate fulfillment status notification and/or delivery issues within the organization to logistics management, operations, and customer service.

Shifts: Sun - Wed; 10 hour shift 9PM - 7AM;

Wed - Sat; 10 hour shift 6am - 4pm; Work in the Canonsburg, PA Office Wed-Sat; 10 hour shift 12pm-10pm; Work in Canonsburg, PA Office

Position Summary

This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the hydrogen logistics network for Plug Power throughout North America. This role requires excellent internal and external communication, organization, and prompt readiness to handle the day-to-day activities required in the Core Duties and Responsibilities listed below. This position is also critical to interface with customer stakeholders and exceed their expectations for service thereby furthering Plug Power's reputation as the leader in hydrogen fuel cell power solutions.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Regional Distribution Managers to complete logistical demands and tasks associated with Plug Power's logistics network
• Provide Customer Service for future and existing customers via email and phone
• Hourly telemetry monitoring, data collection and historical usage review and analysis
• Maintain an internal tracking report of all telemetry levels and customer correspondence
• Communicate immediate fulfillment status notification and/or delivery issues within the organization to points including logistics management, operations, and customer service, as well as external customers
• Use company software to accurately determine forecasted customer demand
• Ability to adjust to customer demand and plan accordingly to ensure customer supply levels are maintained
• Communicate and document operations, supplier and customer events to share with team
• Forecast Liquid Hydrogen deliveries originating from Plug Power Plants, and third-party providers
• Forecast Compressed Hydrogen deliveries originating from Plug Power Plants, and third-party providers
• Work closely with vendors to oversee sub-contracted Liquid Hydrogen deliveries to maintain fulfillment for Plug clients.

Pay Rate:

$23.50 - $34.00
