Job summary

SolPowerlines, LLC is seeking a Lineman B-level candidate to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead electrical lines. You will climb poles with safety gear, and help string wire, install hardware, transformers, and other components under supervision.

The role involves operating line trucks, aerial lifts, and various tools, with on-call expectations for emergencies and storms. High school diploma required; associates preferred, Class A CDL desirable.

Qualifications

  • Ability to climb poles using proper equipment.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in line work.
  • Good physical condition; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Job description

  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as line trucks, aerial lifts, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform groundman duties as required including handling tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Assist with emergency and storm restoration work as required (often outside regular hours).
  • Learn and adhere to company and industry standards and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions and demonstrate progress in gaining skills required for Lineman B.

High School or better.

Experience
  • Class A CDL
  • 1-2 years: Lineman Experience
