The AMES Companies, a long-established U.S. manufacturer, seeks a Distribution Operator 2. You will assemble products and operate an electric pallet jack or tugger to move, locate, relocate, stock and count merchandise in line with production standards.
You may cross-train in all core distribution functions including picking, rework, returns, display building, and unload of imports, and you must possess basic WMS skills. OSHA and MSDS safety standards must be followed.

As our Distribution Operator 2, you will be responsible for assembly of product and operating an electric pallet jack or tugger for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stocking, and counting merchandise in accordance with production standards. All associates must be able to cross train in all core distribution functions including picking, rework, returns, display building, unload of imports, and possess basic WMS skills.
Compensation: $19.13/hr

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders). The employee is regularly required to use left and/or right hand for simple grasping, fine work, pushing/pulling. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, as well as ability to distinguish changes in shade of color. The ability to lift, on occasion, up to 50 lbs.
