University Hospital is seeking a Distribution/Materials Handler to receive and verify incoming mail, packages, and supplies, and ensure prompt delivery within the hospital community. You will transport items using hospital vehicles and maintain accountability throughout the process.

The role requires basic English proficiency, with a preferred High School Diploma/GED and about six months of clerical mail/packing experience. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement plans.

Responsabilités

• Receive, verify, and sign for all incoming supplies.
• Deliver supplies promptly and maintain accountability.
• Prepare storeroom orders and outgoing shipments.
• Picks up and delivers interoffice, incoming and outgoing mail.
• Picks up mail from the Post Office and delivers mail to the Post Office.
• Signs for insured and registered letters and packages.
• Maintain a log of hand deliveries and special delivery correspondence.
• Transports documents to and from University Hospital functions.
• Drives University Hospital vehicles to distribute mail, packages, supplies and other items.
• Develops a working knowledge of equipment used in mail/receiving/storage functions.
• Liaise between Materials Management and campus locations.
