Job summary

4p-Consulting-Inc. is seeking a Distribution Support Specialist I in Juliette, GA for a 5-month contract. You will provide administrative and operational support for distribution activities, handling inventory, orders, shipping, billing, and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to support distribution operations.
• Receive and process customer orders accurately.
• Coordinate shipment preparation, scheduling, labeling, and documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order or delivery issues.
• Use spreadsheets and billing software to report customer charges for: In-lab services, Repairs, Vendor service fees.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, shipments, billing, and customer interactions.
• Collect and analyze distribution data, including fulfillment rates, delivery times, and inventory activity.
• Prepare reports and support process-improvement initiatives.
• Perform quality checks on products or materials before shipment.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors regarding order status, delivery issues, and service needs.
• Support onboarding and training of team members on procedures and systems.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and documentation requirements.
• Assist with distribution-related emergencies, delays, recalls, or other operational issues.
• Support cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and customer service.
