Leidos is seeking a Distribution Engineering Manager in Orlando, FL to lead a team developing construction work packages for electric distribution. You will use GIS, CAD, and WMS, oversee permits, easements, CIAC calculations, and cost estimates while ensuring safety and compliance with NESC and client standards.
The role requires 8+ years in electric distribution design engineering (6+ with MS), strong leadership, and solid client liaison skills.

We are seeking a Distribution Engineering Manager to manage and oversee a team responsible for developing construction work packages for the electric distribution system using various software systems and construction standards. Your team will utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools, Work Management Systems (WMS), and other client systems to develop work packages. You will also have oversight of assignments such as preparing forestry trimming requests, facilitating permit and Right-of-Way acquisition, developing BOM, estimating costs, and customer advocacy such as acquiring easements or calculating a customer Contribution in Aid of Construction (CIAC).
Location: This position is based in Orlando, FL, with a preference for candidates who can work in the office 3-4 days per week. Remote work may be considered for an exceptional candidate, with the expectation of periodic travel to the Orlando office for team meetings, collaboration, and other business needs. The selected candidate must be available to travel to the Orlando office on an as‑needed basis.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
