The Distribution Engineer Designer I (DED I) is the entry level in the DED career track, focusing on electrical distribution design for overhead and underground circuits, with field data collection and coordination with teams. You will produce simple design drawings, BOMs, perform data collection, and learn technical analysis under supervision.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited four-year engineering degree is required.
• FE/EIT certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Producing electric distribution design drawings and BOMs for simple projects.
• Performing field data collection and inspections.
• Carrying out cable, transformer, and pole loading calculations and analyses.
• Familiarization with client standards, workflows, and charging guidelines.

Education

ABET-accredited engineering degree

FE/EIT preferred
