Boot Barn's Distribution Department seeks a Part-time Distribution Driver to ensure safe, timely transportation from the Distribution Center to store locations, with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.

The role requires operating a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading goods, verifying orders, and maintaining delivery logs. You will work with the team to support warehouse functions and uphold safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Part-time status with weekend shift (Sat-Sun 6am–4:30pm).
  • Experience operating delivery vehicles (van or box truck).
  • Ability to load/unload using dollies, pallet jacks, lift gates.
  • Basic paperwork accuracy and ability to maintain records.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle (van, box truck).
  • Pick up, transport, and deliver products to retail stores on schedule.
  • Load and unload goods using dollies, pallet jacks, lift gates.
  • Verify orders before departure and upon delivery (quantities, condition, paperwork, etc.).
  • Maintain delivery logs and receipts.
  • Support warehouse functions and order preparation.
  • Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage.
  • Report issues related to routes or equipment to supervisor/manager.

Our Distribution Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transportation of products from the Distribution Center to retail store locations, ensuring proper handling, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards. Other duties may include but are not limited to shipping and receiving light computer work, the use of DC equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, etc. and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle (van, box truck).
  • Pick up, transport, and deliver products to retail store locations on schedule.
  • Load and unload goods, using dollies, pallet jacks, lift gates, etc.
  • Verify orders before departure and upon delivery (quantities, condition, paperwork, etc.).
  • Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage.
  • Manage invoices, packing slips, and delivery confirmations.
  • Ensure proper handling of products to avoid damage.
  • Maintain delivery logs, mileage records, and receipts.
  • Supports warehouse functions such as receiving materials, maintaining warehouse organization, shipping materials, and preparing customer orders.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, workstations and vehicle neat.
  • Responsible for reporting any issues related to the routes or equipment to direct supervisor/manager.
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, appearance and high degree of professionalism in communication and attitude with customers, partners and vendors.
  • Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. These may include but are not limited to complying with the Company’s Time & Attendance policy and procedures and partnering with management to sustain workplace health and safety requirements according to OSHA regulations and the Company safety guidelines.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
