Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is seeking a Distribution Driver Check-In Clerk in Aurora, CO. You will process end-of-day activity for returning drivers, review returns, create return sales orders in SAP, restock, and coordinate with Drivers, Management, Sales and Customer Service.

The role requires about 1 year warehousing experience, familiarity with modern warehousing practices, and the ability to operate pallet jacks/forklifts (certification a plus).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check-in drivers with a high level of accuracy.
• Review invoices for returns and accurate coding.
• Create return sales orders in SAP.
• Restock customer returned product.
• Perform Bin to Bin movements in the system and physically.
• Assist at customer pick-up dock as needed.
• Create driver manifests and billing documents.
• Schedule inbound appointments and participate in inventory counts.
• Attend monthly safety meetings and follow safety rules.

Overview

The Distribution Driver Check-In Clerk is responsible for processing end of the day activity for drivers returning to the warehouse. Review product returns with drivers to ensure the correct return codes are used and make adjustments in system as needed. Track driver boxes and driver errors. Work closely with Drivers, Management, Sales, and Customer Service. Occasionally unload returned cases from Colorado Springs & Rifle Locations. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Certified on Pallet Jack/Forklift a plus. In addition:

Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with an hourly pay rate of $30.00 / hour plus incentives. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Primary Responsibilities

• Check-in Drivers with a high level of accuracy
• Review invoices for returns and accurate coding
• Create return sales order into SAP software system
• Restock customer returned product
• Perform Bin to Bin movement physically and in the system using RF
• Assist at customer pick up dock as needed
• Create driver manifest
• Create billing documents
• Responsible for inbound scheduling; create appointments
• Participate in inventory count as needed
• Attend monthly safety meeting
• Understand the safety rules and requirements in the workplace
• Ensure warehouse equipment service needs, safety needs and other safety issues are reported promptly
• Able to perform tasks with other systems (Bev Scan/ Bev Pro/Roadnet/Mobilecast)
• Take online safety courses and other classes as needed
• Assist employees with scanner issues/questions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge with modern warehousing practices and methods

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48pounds
• Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
• Work may involve repetitive motions, working at varying heights, and exposure to warehouse environmental conditions
• Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak‑season schedules may be required
