Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Distribution Drafter to join our Power Delivery Solutions team. You will provide 2D and/or 3D drawings to support distribution projects, creating plan and profile drawings for overhead and underground work, and helping maintain standards across the team.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of drafting experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, attention to detail, and familiarity with project collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1+ years of drafting/detailing experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and file handling.
• Experience with ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide 2D and/or 3D drawings in support of our distribution team.
• Create plan and profile drawings to support both overhead and underground projects
• Help develop and maintain any standards and processes to support the Distribution team.
• Support remote office overflow CAD workload on a need and availability basis. This will require coordination with other CAD leads in Leidos offices.

Background Requirements:

• High School diploma with 1+ years of relevant drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques and procedures.
• Proficiency with the manipulation of vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and Microstation.
• Ability to create and/or modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with a high level of attention to details.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with file sharing, document management and collaboration tools such as ProjectWise, FTP, SharePoint, etc.

• Highly organized and efficient.
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced engineering/production environment.

Pay Range:

Pay Range: Pay Range $35,100.00 - $63,450.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
